Positive Affirmations

Our conduct is largly influenced by what we tell ourselves. In the behavioral field it is called internal triggers or our roots. As we all know it is the root of a plant that provides nurishment and determines the plant's abilit to grow. When the roots are not healthy the plant is unable to yield any fruit or what the plant produces is not suitable for sustainablity. Our internal triggers are what makes us choose the actions we do. What you tell yourself is what you believe. This should be a good thing, but many go throughout their lives telling themselves what they have hear from others over the years.

We begin to create an internal dialoge that undermines and sabatoges our desire to imporve and succeed. To have success in our lives we must continuously tell ourselves uplifting and positive affermations. Thoughout my years of coaching six positive affermations have been passed down to me that eveyone needs to tell themselves manytimes a day in order to maintain a healthy root system. These affermations are as follows:

1.

I AM UNIQUE AND VALUABLE.

What anyone else thinks of me is none of my buisness.

2.

I AM IN CONTROL OF WHAT GOES ON INSIDE OF MY LIFE.

When I connont rely on what goes on outside of me, I must depend

on what goes on inside of me.

3.

I MAKE GOOD CHOICES.

And I don't let bad choices hold me back. I learn from them and move on.

4.

I EXPECT TO STAY HEALTHY AND HAPPY.

My expectations affect my outcomes.

5.

THIS DAY AND EVERY DAY IS THE REAL THING.

My life is not a rehearsal. I must make the most of evey minute of it.

6.

I AM IN CONTROL OF MY FEELINGS.

I will take the responcability for how I feel.
